Pfizer finds a way to mass - produce Penicillin.

India operations launched, with HQ in Mumbai.

1966

Pfizer’s listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

1999

Pfizer gets listed on the National Stock Exchange.

2000

A unique hospital antibiotic Magnex launched.

2010

Launch of Prevenar 13, vaccine for prevention of pneumococcal disease.

2015

Following the acquisition of Hospira, India hosts one of Pfizer’s largest sterile injectable plants in the world at Vizag.

2018

Launched Global Product Development Centre at Chennai to support all clinical developments across the company.

2021

Launched Pfizer’s new identity.
